Herbs, spices, and salt are a few of my favorite, flavorful things. Each one adds its own unique flavor to the flavor of each unique fresh food, creating a medley of flavors. Plus, herbs, spices and salt have health-promoting properties. Thank you Mother Nature! These are a few that i keep on hand and season at every meal.

Cinnamon is good sprinkled on toast and added to hot chocolate. cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels. Everyone needs that.

Parsley is high in antioxidants. i add it to bean dishes.

Dried coriander, the alternative to fresh cilantro, is terrific in mexican food and stir fry. it also lowers blood sugar levels.

Oregano is a go-to italian seasoning that boosts the immune system by killing bacteria. It’s also an anti-inflammatory.

Paprika adds a nice kick of pepper to eggs and has a ton of antioxidants.

Curry powder is a mix of spices that includes turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. One of my favorite dishes is curried chick peas.

Salt — fresh food salt, not table salt - kills viruses and bacteria. I sprinkle a little on everything.T
